Have Your Say on the Future of the 30% Tax Ruling

The Dutch government is currently investigating the effects of the 30% reimbursement ruling to decide whether or not it should remain in place. The Netherlands Court of Audit (Algemene Rekenkamer) has issued a report concluding that the costs associated with the 30% ruling for highly skilled migrants amount to almost €7 million per year, and questions whether this is in proportion to the advantages of the scheme. Several political parties are also calling for the ruling to be abolished.
