On Friday November 22 the 38th edition of the Peter Stuyvesant Ball took place at the Plaza Hotel in New York. The Peter Stuyvesant Ball is an annual elegant and festive event, organized by the Netherland-America Foundation (NAF).
The NAF promotes and stimulates high-impact exchanges between the Netherlands and the US. The Peter Stuyvesant Ball is the single largest source of funding for the NAF. This year’s edition celebrated aviation in honor of the 100 th anniversary of the Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM). NAF Patrons HRH Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven were joined by diplomatic envoys and other leaders and friends of the Dutch-American community from both sides of the pond in support of the NAF’s activities.
