AmCham’s 2020 U.S. Elections Online Panel Discussion

Published:

Today, AmCham hosted The 2020 U.S. Elections Online Panel Discussion in collaboration with Jones Day.

Our panellists, Mattie Bekink, Executive Director of Stichting Fullbright Commission the Netherlands, Charles Groenhuijsen, author and anchor and Mark Verheijen, author and Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), shared their insights on the 2020 elections. The panel was moderated by Lodewijk Berger, Partner at Jones Day.

The panel discussion included questions like:

  • What would a Biden win mean for political discourse and global relations/business?
  • Will a Trump loss narrow the political divide and cause a comeback for the Republican establishment?
  • What would 4 more years of Trump mean, also for the Democratic party?

Can Joe Biden seize away the presidency? Or will Donald Trump win a second term in office? On Tuesday November 3 is Election Day. During this historic election, American voters will decide who will run the country for the next four years.

AmCham The Netherlands cordially thanks Mattie Bekink, Lodewijk Berger, Charles Groenhuijsen and Mark Verheijen for their valuable insights and input in this panel discussion.
