AmCham Rotterdam Chapter - Industrial Tourism: Sustainable Goals & Developments in the Port of Rotterdam

Published:

Last Wednesday, June 19, AmCham Rotterdam Chapter organized a well-attended event on the 'Sustainable Goals & Developments in the Port of Rotterdam'. The strong focus on sustainable goals, the energy transitions and new developments of the port's industry was supported by interactive presentations of the Circular Steam Project by Harm Dijkstra (Site Manager Botlek & Maasvlakte Manufacturing Sites) and Willemien Terpstra (Global Vice President TBA and Styrene) both at LoyndellBasell and Wiek Kleijne (Business Manager RD&I and Technology at Nouryon) about Nouryon's vision towards a circular economy. The program continued with an exclusive tour on the LyondellBasell Maasvlakte plant including a private boat tour through the port of Rotterdam.

It was an alternating and highly informative afternoon with new insights and understanding about the port of Rotterdam's fascinating industry.

AmCham cordially thanks Lyondell Basell and Port of Rotterdam for their generous support and all guest for joining us on June 19.
