On February 3, AmCham and the U.S. Embassy hosted a public-private roundtable on the opportunities for biotechnology in the Netherlands. Biotech has proved to be a cornerstone of innovation, driving progress in healthcare, agriculture, and environmental science, as well as in the broader economy, education, and business. The roundtable discussion was an open dialogue on what is needed to excel in biotech innovation, and what can drive biotech investments in the Netherlands. The event hosted representatives from several Dutch Ministries, academia and the private sector, and two special guests from MassBio and the Massachusetts House of Representatives, who joined to share insights in what drove success in biotech in Massachusetts.
