The Roosevelt Institution for American Studies (RIAS) Board is looking for a new member as of 1 January 2021.

The RIAS is a graduate school, library, research and conference center for the study of American history and transatlantic relations in modern times.
The Institute's profile is based on the idea of the Rooseveltian Century.

This idea focuses on the progressive leadership of the three Roosevelts - Theodore, Eleanor, and Franklin - and how their legacies have shaped the United States and its relationships with the rest of the world.
The RIAS has both academic and public functions.

In view of the expiration of the term of appointment of one of the board members, the RIAS board is looking for a preferably female member who can guarantee the maintenance of transatlantic relations and public affairs.
