During the luncheon following the AGM, H.E. Barbara Visser, State Secretary for Defense, was the guest of honor and keynote speaker. Prior to the State Secretary's speech, AmCham handed over the first copy of the 2019 Investors' Agenda of Priority Points (Priority Points) to State Secretary Visser. AmCham’s Priority Points address the main challenges to the Dutch investment climate and form the basis for AmCham’s dialogue with the Dutch government, employer organizations, legislators and other important stakeholders. The Priority Points are supported by a study on the Dutch Investment Climate executed by Bain & Company. For more information and to download a copy: click here.
During her keynote address, State Secretary Visser made a warm plea for innovation and for collaboration between the business community and the Ministry of Defense. The key remarks by the State Secretary are available here.
AmCham thanks all members and guests, and State Secretary for Defense Barbara Visser for joining us on May 21.
