On May 11, AmCham hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM). AmCham’s AGM took place online for the second year in a row via video conferencing.
Minister for Medical Care and Sport, Ms. Tamara van Ark, addressed the Members live from The Hague. After the keynote by the Minister, a Q&A was held with the Members. Subjects ranged from the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic so far, the possible further partnership on healthcare between the public and private sector and innovation in general.
During the AGM, a brief overview of the year under review was given by AmCham’s President, Jasper van Ouwerkerk. Furthermore, the financial statements were presented and the new Board of Directors was elected. AmCham proudly welcomes Enver Erkan (Country Manager/Managing Director at Pfizer), Karlijn in ’t Veld (Country Director at The Coca-Cola Company), Mike Jansen (Partner Corporate/M&A at Jones Day), Els Kamphof (Senior EVP Wholesale Banking at Rabobank), Farhan Siddiqi (Chief Digital Officer at Ahold Delhaize) and Jan-Willem van der Schoot (Country Manager at Mastercard), into the AmCham Board.
