On June 1, AmCham hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM). AmCham’s AGM took place online for the third year in a row.
Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Ms. Liesje Schreinemacher, provided us with an interesting keynote which focused on four topics, which will be guidelines for the work visit of H.M. King Willem-Alexander and H.M. Queen Máxima to California and Texas (U.S.) in September 2022. The topics were the following: life science & health, coastal & flood protection, energy transition and transport & mobility.
During the AGM, Mr. Jasper van Ouwerkerk (Senior Partner, McKinsey & Company), President of AmCham, gave a brief overview of the year and Mr. Marc Lino (Bain & Co.), Treasurer of AmCham, presented the financial statements. Furthermore, the new Board of Directors was elected. Therefore, AmCham proudly welcomes its new Board Members: Ms. Phaedra Kortekaas (Country Leader, IBM Consulting the Netherlands), Ms. Milou Meijer (VP Legal EMEA, Nike), Ms. Stacey Tank (Chief Transformation & Corporate Affairs Officer, Heineken), Mr. Peter van Keulen (Founding & Managing Partner, Public Matters), Ms. Jennifer Vink (Director of Digital Native Enterprise and Corporate Sales, Google Netherlands) and Ms. Natalia Wallenberg (Chief Human Resources Officer and Member of ExCo, Ahold Delhaize).
