The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation visited Amsterdam to learn more about the Circular Economy in the Netherlands through hands-on tours, inspirational speakers, peer-to-peer discussions and networking. The objective of the delegation was to explore circular opportunities from a global perspective and to inspire new ideas and profitable actions that companies can implement. Accompanied by representatives of Subaru and AmCham Members FedEx, Microsoft and The Coca-Cola Company the attendees started with the Park2020 tour followed by visits to circular exemplary organizations C-Creators, Rabobank, Waternet and Port of Amsterdam. The extensive and informative program continued on day two with a visit to Fairphone, ING, DSM-Niaga and closed with a tour to the Rawmaterial Collective Organization of Almere.
All attendees from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation got inspired and equipped with clear insights and specific opportunities on which their organizations can capitalize to bring circular solutions to scale.
