Today, October 31, we were honored to welcome Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Marisa Lago, and U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Shefali Razdan Duggal at our offices in Amsterdam for a roundtable on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), and women empowerment in particular.
Under Secretary Lago talked about the International Trade Administration's priorities in the field of DEI. Ambassador Razdan Duggal highlighted the importance the topic has to her and how her personal journey has shaped her vision. Together with Members from our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee and Board, we discussed AmCham’s objectives and activities in the field of D&I, but also the efforts of individual member companies to improve DEI in the workplace.
