June 8, 2020 - In a letter to Parliament, AmCham once more shared its vision on the Dutch franchise bill, which will be debated in Parliament on Tuesday, June 9. AmCham underlines that it is important to ammend the bill in the interest of franchise as a sector for the Dutch economy. AmCham asked attention for four main concerns regarding the scope of the bill, and its definitions. These concerns have also been expressed in a letter to State Secretary Keijzer on April 14, 2020. Earlier on in the legislative process, during the public consultation on the franchise bill which closed on 31 January 2019, AmCham shared its vision on the proposal extensively.
