On March 12, AmCham together with its Sustainability & Innovation Committee organized a special preview screening of the film Six Inches of Soil at Museon/One Planet in The Hague in collaboration with Rabobank and The Hague Business Agency. With this event, AmCham took time for a deep dive into food systems transition, exploring solutions to transform the way food is produced.
Six Inches of Soil is a recently released documentary feature film on Regenerative Agriculture that showcases the inspiring story of British farmers seeking alternatives for the current food system and transforming the way they produce food - to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities.
During this screening, the movie’s Director Colin Ramsay & Producer Claire Mackenzie joined us for an introduction. After the movie, Karen Heuvelmans of Rabobank, Klaas Jan van Calker of Unilever, and Casper Zulim de Swarte of the WBCSD discussed the scaling potential of regenerative agriculture with the audience.
AmCham cordially thanks Rabobank and The Hague Business Agency for sponsoring this event, the director and producer for joining us in The Hague, and the speakers for their contributions to this important discussion.
