Upcoming Thursday the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers VNO-NCW will nominate Ingrid Thijssen as the new Chair. Mrs. Thijssen will succeed Hans de Boer in June, who has been Chair since 2014. Mrs. Thijssen will be the first female Chair of VNO NCW.
Mrs. Thijssen, currently Chairman of the Board of energy network operator Alliander, was chosen Top Woman of the Year in 2016. She is also a Member of the Supervisory Board of health insurance company VGZ and Member of the Supervisory Board of the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
