Coörperation and mutual understanding across the Atlantic Ocean is spreading to the youngest generation! Some 80 pupils of Koorschool Haarlem, the only school in the Netherlands that obligates children to sing and play an instrument, have taken up the idea to go and thank the United States for their help 75 years ago. On the April 29th next year the renowned choir-singers, in the age of 9 to 16, are planning a special Thank You Concert in Washington on their 8-day tour on the East Coast. Their performance is planned in the Washington National Cathedral or the National Shrine.

By special permission of the Dutch minister of Defense, this young choir will be accompanied by one of the Dutch military orchestras. A television-program is in the making, to be broadcasted in the Netherlands. Of course the organization is also looking out for publicity in the US on this heartwarming and meaningful musical event.
