On January 20, the presidential inauguration took place. Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States and Kamala Harris became the first woman, first African American and the first Asian American to hold the office of Vice President.
In his inaugural speech, President Biden stated that “unity is the path forward” and pledged to be “a President for all Americans”.
