On June 22, AmCham hosted a session on Artificial Intelligence in which leading experts from IBM, Randstad and McKinsey shared their insights with AmCham Members.
During the session, our speakers delved into the potential of AI to enhance employee productivity and its capacity to tackle complex challenges. They emphasized how AI is reshaping various industries and optimizing processes. While discussing the positive aspects, Mr. Harsh Deshpande from IBM also highlighted potential negative implications of AI, including its impact on society and politics, such as the dissemination of fake news. Mr. Ferry Grijpink from McKinsey focused on the economic potential of generative AI and the unanswered questions regarding the future implications of AI. Ms. Arlene DeMita from IBM and Mr. David Graus from Randstad discussed the risks associated with AI transformation and how to capitalize on AI investments, but also the opportunities for the application of AI in HR management - and how associated ethical dilemmas can be overcome.
AmCham cordially thanks IBM for the hospitality, and Arlene DeMita, Harsh Deshpande, David Graus and Ferry Grijpink for their insights and their contributions.
