The Hague, September 5, 2019 – With the summer holidays behind us, AmCham kicked off the second half of this year with the exclusive “Town Hall Meeting & After Summer Reception” at the US Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague.
During the so-called Town Hall Meeting US Ambassador Pete Hoekstra invited AmCham Members to ask questions on transatlantic relations, U.S. politics, government policy and other burning current topics, which caused a lively conversation about a wide range of issues. The event started with a word of welcome by AmCham President Jasper van Ouwerkerk, who thanked the Ambassador and mrs. Hoekstra for their hospitality and ongoing engagement with the American-Dutch business community, and was moderated by Marc ter Haar, Director at EY.
