Today, U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Pete Hoekstra presented a brief update on recent developments in the United States after which he was available to answer questions from our Members.
During the update, Ambassador Hoekstra proudly emphasized on the strong relationship between the Netherlands and the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic and that we are moving forward in a positive way.
Topics that have been touched upon were, amongst others, advocacy on pre-clearance, the gradual re-opening of the U.S. borders, geopolitical developments and of course the U.S. elections.
