On Monday, September 28, AmCham hosted a webinar in collaboration with Janssen Vaccines, a leading pharmaceutical company currently working on one of the most promising coronavirus vaccine candidates.
During the webinar, Hanneke Schuitemaker, Ph.D., Vice President, Global Head Viral Vaccine Discovery and Translational Medicine at Janssen Vaccines, gave an inside perspective on the efforts to develop, evaluate and produce a safe and effective vaccine for COVID-19 at an accelerated pace. Michel van Agthoven, Director External Affairs Netherlands at the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and Chair of AmCham’s Pharmaceutical Committee, opened the session with a brief introduction of the Janssen company.
