On March 6, in collaboration with AmCham Belgium and AmCham Estonia, AmCham The Netherlands, organized a webinar to reflect on the outcomes of Super Tuesday with Jon Decker, an esteemed White House Correspondent with over 25 years of experience covering the White House.
Super Tuesday is the day where multiple states hold presidential primaries that will influence the overall trajectory of the primaries more than on any other day. The results are therefore a strong indicator of the likely eventual nominee for each political party and uncovers trends among voters that will affect the campaigns.
During the webinar, Decker discussed the trajectory of the 2024 U.S. elections following Super Tuesday. Notably...
- There will be three key battleground states in this election: Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
- This will be a close election, so both Democrats and Republicans need to mobilize the voters who are less likely to vote for them, to obtain 270 electoral votes.
- If Trump wins the presidency, this will impact business and policies towards Europe and funding for Ukraine.
AmCham cordially thanks Jon Decker for his valuable insights!
