One of the major stumbling blocks to building a diverse and inclusive team or organization is that diversity itself so often goes unspoken in the corporate world. Yet it are exactly those bold and sometimes difficult conversations that prove tremendously rewarding in building empathy, raising awareness and better understanding inclusion, diversity and discrimination.
On November 23, AmCham hosted its second session in a series of three events on ‘The Power of Conversation in Creating an Inclusive Culture’ – an initiative of AmCham’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee.
How to facilitate courageous conversation within your own organization? During a one-hour workshop AmCham Members were provide with guides and tools to set up dialogue sessions at the workplace. The workshop was delivered by Linda van Duijn, Transformation Manager at PwC with an introduction by Terence Guiamo, Head of Inclusion & Diversity at PwC and Member of the AmCham D&I Committee.
Amcham The Netherlands cordially thanks Linda van Duijn and Terence Guiamo for their inspiring and insightful workshop.
